Dortmund Through to Final after 1-0 Triumph
Borussia Dortmund have reached their third Champions League final after a dramatic 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.
Mats Hummels' header in the second half proved to be the winning goal, as Dortmund held on to secure their place in the final in Istanbul.
The result was a major upset, as PSG were the favorites to advance. However, Dortmund were able to defy the odds and pull off a stunning victory.
The match was played in front of a packed crowd at the Signal Iduna Park, and the atmosphere was electric. Dortmund started the match brightly, and they had the better of the chances in the first half.
PSG improved after the break, but they were unable to find a way past the Dortmund defense. Hummels' goal came in the 77th minute, and it proved to be the winning goal.
Dortmund will now face either Real Madrid or Manchester City in the final. It will be their first Champions League final since 2013, when they lost to Bayern Munich.
